Internet Marketing How To?

This question, or...this statement deserves time in answering. The question is always posed..."how do I effectively promote my website on the internet?"

Answer: One must travel outside the normal realm of thinking. When marketing a website on the net, one must never assume that they know all the answers, because the simple fact of the matter is, one must think in terms of the search engine spiders. Easy task one might presume but the fact is...thinking totally logical and without feeling and emotion is hard to do for humans. All humans have perspectives, search engine spiders do not. The simply gather information and compile that information in a totally logical context. If that information is relevant on a website, Google sends the pat on the back in terms of better ranking. If one does not accomplish this...the spider spanks...no ranking...or in most cases...page 5 million.

Rule of thumb...post good relevant and original content in the site...no copying and pasting...it is definitely time for one to move out of that scenario.

Use keyword rich ad content when speaking on the subject promoted...here again...rewards for those that will...a spanking for those that will not.

Having a super meta tag description is helpful as well, and of course...purchasing a domain for the website promoted is essential as well.

By sticking to these guidelines, success in promoting a website is inevitable, but he one thing that most miss...consistency is the key.

One cannot put one press release, or do one ad, or post one ezine article and expect success...the people successful on the net, never stop posting information. One must keep up an eternal vigil if success is expected.

Traveling where no man has gone before is essential in internet marketing. Beginning to rearrange one's thinking towards what the search engine spiders of Google, Yahoo, MSN and all the other search engines are seeking will lend success in terms of better search engine ranking...which should lead to more traffic...which then should lead to MORE SALES! ###

Using Goose Decoys in Internet Marketing?

Mabel - I'm a goin' huntin'! This weekend I found an analogy to relate to some prospects who call me about how they aren't getting the leads they want, the prospects they want, the money they want, etc., etc.

And for some time now, I've had trouble explaining it, because for me, I'm a visual person and I need to see things to comprehend them. And the way I was describing it, I don't think it was setting in effectively for my prospects and team.

Anyways, here's my example: This weekend I was driving back to the town I was born and raised - only about an hour from where I live now. Along the way I saw some geese hunters setting up their decoys and snow blinds (Keep in mind that it's about 25 degrees and we have 6-8" os snow on the ground). There must have been 50-75 decoys scattering this field.

I thought to myself, 'Dang - that's a lot of decoys out there, I wonder if they bought them all at once?' Then it dawned on me the reason there's so many decoys is that those hunters know that without them, they wouldn't attract the geese they were hunting.

In many ways, that's what we need to be doing as network marketers in utilizing the marketing resources at our disposal. Resources like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, PPC, banner advertising, classifieds, etc.

If we utilize only a few resources, we wouldn't attract the leads we want and therefore the numbers we were hoping for would be WAY down.

Instead, when we use MANY different resources, we have a wider network of people we can reach.

Imagine it like this:

Few decoys = few geese
Few Marketing resources = Few leads

The marketing resources we use are like the decoys that hunters use. They are both used to help attract what we're looking for! Each and every decoy is like a separate marketing resource.
