A Winning Internet Marketing Strategy in a Nutshell

Internet marketing is supposed to be the 'easy' way to make money, but so many people over complicate it and instead of taking the existing 'short-cuts', they choose the long-winded road, only to create more work and frustration for themselves. In a nutshell, an effective internet marketing strategy can be summed up in the following sentence: "Do something to promote your offer every day and stick with what works."

1. Do something to promote your offer every day

Consistency is the key here. Any money-making business requires regular levels of input. But the problem is too many people give up too early. They don't actually focus and take consistent action for long enough to reap the real rewards of making money online.

You need to realize, starting an online business is much like pushing a snowball. In the beginning, it take extra effort to push the snowball up the hill, but once you manage to get it to the top and over to the other side, the snowball will start moving on its own, gaining momentum and growth exponentially. At this stage, whilst you still need to take regular action, you'd only be looking at a few hours a week for maximum results.

So, don't make the mistake of giving up before you even get to the top of the hill.

2. Stick with what works

The reason why it takes extra effort in the beginning is because it takes time and trial to discover which methods are the best for you. There are literally thousands of tactics that you can apply in your online business. However, it's just impossible to implement all of them. You have to focus on selective strategies that work for you.

It's essential that you test all the available options, and from them pinpoint the exact strategies that are most suited and most effective in regards to your current business situation. Then it's just about sticking with these strategies and taking consistent action.

Internet marketing doesn't have to be difficult. It's just about doing what works and doing it consistently.

Internet Marketing Tips - 3 Tips to Improve Your Email Marketing Results

There are many ways to market online. One of those ways is through email marketing. There is no question that over the years, email marketing has taken a bit of a hit. With the increase of spam and the ISPs having to crack down on the problem, emails are tougher than ever to get delivered. And even when they do, with the amount of noise out there, it's tough to get your prospect's attention. This article is going to share with you three solid tips that will definitely help improve your email marketing results. It is my very strong suggestion that you make note of these and use them. They WILL mean thousands of dollars to you each month in extra revenue.

Tip number 1. This one goes directly to the spam problem. You MUST use a spam checker when you send your emails. There are so many words out that they are sure to set off the spam alarms that you'd be surprised at the number. Spam checkers are easy to use and they're free. You can find quite a few of them online just by going to Google and typing in "spam checker" into the search box. It takes literally seconds to check each email and get your spam score. A score of over 5 is almost guaranteeing that your email won't be delivered. The closer to zero that you can get it, the better.

Tip number 2. Don't try to trick people with deceptive subjects like "payment received" and things like that. For one thing, these deceptive subjects are actually against the law and you can be prosecuted for using them. Aside from that, if you use a deceptive subject and the message inside doesn't match the subject, the person receiving your email is going to be so ticked off at you that the chances of you making a sale anyway are slim to none. Your subject should entice the reader to open the email but should also be honest.

Tip number 3. If you want the reader to actually purchase something from you, you have to give something first. That's right. Make sure your email contains information, free of charge, that will actually help the person on the other end. If they see that you are truly trying to help them, they are going to be more likely to purchase something from you. Maybe not right there on the spot, but certainly in the future if you keep sending them valuable information.

There you have it. If you simply follow these three simple tips, you'll see that your email marketing results will greatly improve.
